Who is Al?

It has been an amazing journey.

My work has always revolved around working closely with people. Spending the vast majority of my adult working life as a Record Producer, spending sixteen hour days and sometime for weeks on end, in the studio. It was creative, pressured and demanding and I saw some amazing results while working with some incredible people. Don’t think for one minute that they didn’t have problems, moments of doubt, fears or worries and I was able to help them work through them to make some great projects come to life as a result.

I have always been fascinated in “what makes people tick”. So I nourished my fascination and decided to go back to school to try and uncover more. This led me to Trevor Sylvester at the Quest Institute.

For three years I studied Neuro Linguistic Programming, Cognitive Hypnotherapy and Solution Focused Supervision. These academic disciplines were a valuable addition to the skill sets I used and developed while working with world class artists.

What I learned most of all is how much we run on auto-pilot (our unconscious) and how little we are governed by what we consciously think. Being able to use the powers of our unconscious motivations unleashes potential we usually only dream about.

Nowadays I prefer a quieter life...mostly.

These days I really love working with my clients. It is very satisfying to help people overcome their fears, worries and obstacles. Opening the door to a better way of living their best life, free of old fears. In my spare time there is a good chance you will find me out and about walking with my collie dog, when ever I get the chance. Because he doesn’t understand the term bad weather! Other than that and weather permitting you might just find me, on the odd occasion, at a track day ‘hooning’ around on my sports bike.
